2 PM Beat Fetish — Martin Atkins on 25 years of Industrial & Post Punk Recording
Produced by Martin Atkins, Beat Fetish is the culmination of over 25 years of recording and includes some of the best material, cherry picked from sessions with Pigface, The Damage Manual, Killing Joke, Nine Inch Nails and other artists. Atikins will be playing examples from the collection and discussing his sound design and production techniques used, along with anecdotes from the sessions. In addition Martin will also be discussing his new book Tour:Smart, the definitive book on touring and breaking the band. Martin is one of the most entertaining speakers in the industry and this talk is not to be missed.

3 PM How the SONAR REAC Solution will Revolutionize Live Recording
Cakewalk and Roland announced a recording system at IBC earlier this year for Roland's REAC technology and V-Mixing system that will allow the recording of 40 channels of 24-bit audio over a single Ethernet cable. In addition this technology will work at distances up to two km with only 1 ms of latency.
