The Z210 is a great balance of performance and value. The Intel Core-i7 processors provide the power you need to get your project done and the Windows7 64-bit OS we have installed means SONAR X1 can take advantage of the extra RAM on the system which mean there are more soft synths and loops that can be loaded into RAM and overall responsiveness. The Intel Core –i7 provides many advantages including faster than real-time rendering of projects. What this means is a typical 5 minute project can be rendered down in less than 2.5 minutes. This type of optimization is seen across the application.
We are using two Z210 CMT workstations at the NAMM show, one with the full size housing which is featured at the VS-700 Experience station and a second unit that featured the smaller compact housing on the Better Life With Music Stage.
The Better Life With Music stage machine features the same Intel Core-i7 procerssor, 8 Gig of RAM and Windows 7 64-bit but is in a smaller more compact housing. This machine will be used for demonstrations with TC aka Spitfire, Paul Okenfold’s main engineer and Cori Yarckin who’s new album will be released in March and features many songs that were written, mixed and produced completely in SONAR X1.
The Z210 CMT workstation is a great choice if you want a desktop for your studio that provides power and performance without breaking the bank.
Add the HP ZR2740w 27-inch LED Backlit IPS Monitorr (available separately)
