Cakewalk helps Extreme Makeovers Home Edition again
Back in February, we told you about Cakewalk giving a helping hand to the Hughes family, who were on the ABC show Extreme Makeovers Home Edition.
Recently, Cakewalk was asked to help out another family. In the episode that aired on March 23rd, Extreme Makeovers Home Edition helped the Gaudet family. Cakewalk's Ryan Pietras traveled to their hometown of Mobile, Alabama to set-up a sound for movies studio centered around SONAR. Read Ryan's blog where he recaps his experience.
Rapture wins the prestigious MIPA award

Cakewalk show off SONAR 7 at the One Stop Shop Show in Phoenix, AZ
The One Stop Shop Show was organzied by Sha Money, founder and president of G-Unit, to help educate aspiring producers about their craft and the music business. Cakewalk was in the Microsoft room and demonstrated SONAR 7 using PC Audio Labs computers. Cakewalk's Carl Jacobson and SONAR artist DJ Johnny Juice also participated in a technology panel hosted by Microsoft. Read the blog for the entire report along with pictures from the event.
