What do you like best about the integrated audio recording and editing features?
“I can easily put together some drum and bass patterns and instantly begin playing guitar over them. In this sense, it is almost too easy to come up with song ideas now!”
“I think audio recording and editing is wonderful. I can setup drum loops then record my Guitar parts in a snap.”
What do you like best about the new loop enhancements?
“’In slice editing’ of pitch opens up the sonic possibilities of this package 500%.”
“Per-slice control refines the whole concept of micro-management in my audio editing. I like to rework vocals and create abnormal uncharacteristic non-human qualities to vocal audio and this allows for much more extended control to this end.”
What do you like best about the new arpeggiator?
“Nice set of controls laid out logically. Once again, a lot of power but easy to use.”
“It is compact, easy to use, and provides useful results.”
“It reminds me of the old Moog arpeggiators and the setup helps me get really creative. I find it really inspiring when I get writers block.”
“The new arpeggiator is hands down the best I've ever had to play with. It's extremely musical and is intuitive to edit/modify.”

“Amazing sound banks. This instrument is the BOMB!”

“… the Dimension DXi is amazing. Just listen to the strings presets...luscious! And the pianos too. In fact, all the sounds I've heard come out of that thing are first rate, to my ears. “Easy to transport your sounds from one project to another.”
“You can really string together awesome combos with synths and arpeggiators...Absolutely killer.”
“Kicks total butt. It is awesome to be able to save off an entire virtual rack of gear as a single preset. Probably the single best upgrade in my book.”
What do you like best about the new user interface?
“I think it looks very sophisticated, and the color scheme is very pleasant to look at and easy on the eyes (which is good for long sessions with the product). Overall, I think the Track Inspector is the best part of the new UI. It is not only a great design, but its design actually translates to a more functional workflow. I also think that the new Track Controls, Arrange Pane and Editor Automation data colorization are all worth mentioning as great UI improvements.”
