With unlimited simultaneous audio tracks (64 in SONAR X1 Essential) and deep editing functions, there is no question about SONAR’s prowess when it comes to recording audio. Simply route any available input to any track and press the Record button.

SONAR can monitor through any realtime plugin effects, but records the dry signal so changes to the tone are always possible during any point in the production process. Record as many tracks and monitor through as many effects as your computer can handle without ever having to commit to a particular sound or tone until you're ready.

Studio and Producer versions can even fix pitch problems and quantize recordings to correct timing or match the groove and feel of other parts.
