Rapture 1.1 Update

Important Notes – Please Read Before Downloading!

Rapture Installation Notes:

Rapture 1.1 installer can be installed with or without Rapture 1.0 installed. There's no need to install Rapture 1.0 before installing 1.1 in a new system.

Windows XP (x86), Windows Vista (x86)

• Backup all your user data
• Keep a backup copy of your songs, programs, elements, multisamples, LFO waveform files, tuning definition files, etc.
• Uninstall Rapture 1.0
• This is optional for x86 Windows, the installer will take care of removing all the unused files and entries if Rapture 1.0 isn't uninstalled.
• Install Rapture 1.1
• Run the 'Rapture110Setup.exe' installer, and follow the installer instructions.

Windows XP (x64), Windows Vista (x64)

• Backup all your user data
• Keep a backup copy of your songs, programs, elements, multisamples, LFO waveform files, tuning definition files, etc.
• Uninstall Rapture 1.0
• This is required for x64 Windows in order to get rid of all 1.0 x86 components (Bitbridge, VST, RTAS).
• Install Rapture 1.1
• Run the 'Rapture110Setup.exe' installer, and follow the installer instructions.

OSX Tiger (10.4.x)

• Backup all your user data
• Keep a backup copy of your songs, programs, elements, multisamples, LFO waveform files, tuning definition files, etc.
• Install Rapture 1.1
• Mount the ‘Rapture 1.1 Installer.dmg’ to the desktop
• Run 'Rapture Installer.app', and follow the installer instructions.

Expansion Packs and Rapture 1.1 (Windows only)

If you have one or both Expansion Packs installed on Rapture 1.0, and then you install Rapture 1.1, no further action is required. Rapture 1.1 installer will make all adjustments required to both Expansion Packs so they work with the new folder structure. Both packs will be immediately available in Rapture Programs Browser.

However, the Expansion Packs 1 and 2 installers are not Digitally Signed, so you might get a security pop-up in Windows Vista, depending on your system settings. Additionally, the Expansion Pack installers will install all programs in the old (1.0) locations instead of the new location introduced by Rapture 1.1.

A digitally signed installer for both Expansion Packs combined is available for download in the Users Area. For new systems, this installer will allow the installation of both Expansion Packs on top of a Rapture 1.1 installation, and will deploy all programs to the new location.
