The current versions of SONAR 2015, Music Creator 7, Rapture Pro and Z3TA+ 2 are compatible with Windows 10.
Previous versions of these products—such as SONAR X3 and Music Creator 6 Touch—have not been tested with Windows 10 and their performance cannot be guaranteed on this operating system. Their development occurred before Microsoft's development and release of Windows 10 and therefore could not have been tested for compatibility. For the best experience, Cakewalk strongly suggests using older products with the version of Windows on which they are officially supported.
Please keep in mind that third-party plug-ins, audio interface drivers and control surfaces may not have been updated for Windows 10. Consult the manufacturers for details. For example, check Roland's compatibility article and only use their hardware and software on Windows 10 if it has been approved. Installing anything that is not compatible with Windows 10 is done at your own risk.
If you are considering upgrading to Windows 10, first ensure that your DAW, plug-ins and hardware drivers are all compatible with this OS. Using any hardware or software that is incompatible with Windows 10 can result in unstable performance even with a compatible DAW, like SONAR Platinum.
