    FAQ—Cakewalk® Acquires Ultrafunk Audio Plug-in Technology

    Am I now considered a registered Cakewalk customer?
    Yes. Ultrafunk customers have been added to the registered Cakewalk user database. As a registered customer, you will be eligible for special pricing on Cakewalk products along with special offers from third-party vendors.

    As an Ultrafunk customer, am I entitled to future updates?
    Yes. If you are a registered Ultrafunk customer, Cakewalk will email you about future updates.

    Will Cakewalk be offering product support for current Ultrafunk customers?
    Yes. Cakewalk will send registered Ultrafunk customers an email in the next few weeks to give them more details on how to get technical support or customer service for their current product.

    Are there plans to update the plug-ins?
    Yes. There will be future versions and updates available. Subscribe to Cakewalk News to learn about future developments.

    Will Ultrafunk plug-ins and technology be integrated into Cakewalk products?
    The Ultrafunk plug-ins and technology will be incorporated into select lines of Cakewalk software. Development will begin working on modifications to the Ultrafunk technology for optimal integration.

    Will Cakewalk continue to sell the Sonitus suite by itself?
    Yes. The Sonitus suite or components of it will be made available at a later date, and as mentioned above certain components will be included in future lines of software. However, for the immediate future, Cakewalk will not be selling any of the plug-ins independently.
