Turn on loop recording to automatically capture takes into layers within a track for easy organization, editing and archiving. And because all track layers reside on the same channel you can patch individual audio effects to all layers simultaneously.

Comping

Splice track layers together to keep only the best parts of each recording. Mute or Isolate sections of a take and auto-crossfade takes together to create a completely seamless performance.

Clip-Based Editing

Apply fades, effects and automation to selected audio clips, and specify the fade duration and curve type. Each clip has its own effects bin for efficiently adding effects to just one layer or small segment of a track.
