• Dimension Pro does not appear in GarageBand

    The information in this article applies to:

    • Dimension Pro

    GarageBand keeps a cached instrument list file which it modifies from session to session. When GarageBand loads an AU for the first time, and the plug-in causes GarageBand to crash, the AU is marked as invalid in the list and it will not show up in GarageBand again.

    To fix this problem, you must delete the following file from your hard drive:

    /Users//Library/Caches/GarageBand/com.apple.GarageBandAUs.plist

    Note: In the path above, replace with your account name.

    After deleting this file, re-launch GarageBand and Dimension Pro will show up fine.
