Rapture Version 1 Demo

Thank you for choosing to try the Rapture Web Demo. Before downloading, please be aware of the following demo version limitations.

Demo Limitations

• Approximately every 12 seconds Rapture Demo volume fades to silence, remains silent for about a second, then fades back to its normal level
• Rapture Demo cannot be authorized or registered
• Rapture Demo cannot be upgraded
• Rapture PDF User's Guide not included, but online Help is available from the plug-in

Warning: Installing the full retail version of Rapture will overwrite modified factory content
Please note that Rapture sound programs with original, factory-installed file names will be overwritten during the installation of the full retail version (this includes .prog, .elem, .sfz, etc). If you wish to retain files that you have customized using the Rapture Demo, please rename them or copy them to a safe location before running the retail installer.

Download Problems
If you have problems downloading files from ftp.cakewalk.com there a several possible reasons that could be the cause. The two most common causes of connection problems to ftp.cakewalk.com are caused by firewall configuration issues and using passive mode ftp.

Passive mode ftp
ftp.cakewalk.com does not support passive mode ftp connections. Please refer to the documentation or Help file included with your ftp client or web browser for information on how to disable "passive ftp mode."

Firewall setup
Please check the documentation for your firewall for information on how to allow ftp traffic. If you're running Windows XP, it could be the default firewall configuration included with Windows XP that is causing the problem.
