Project5 is a legacy Cakewalk’s pattern-based soft synth work station that has its own library (pattern bin) full of MIDI and audio patterns, stored on disk. If you have Project5 MIDI patterns on your hard disk, you can import them directly into Cakewalk.
3. Use the File > Import > MIDI command.The Import MIDI dialog box appears,
4. Change the Files of Type field to P5 Pattern.
7. To import the highlighted file, click the Open button.

Note - Using Offline Help
Note: If you prefer to always use offline Help, go to Edit > Preferences > File > Advanced in your Cakewalk software and select Always Use Offline Help.
If you are not connected to the internet, your Cakewalk software will default to showing offline help until an internet connection becomes available.
