The Browser lets you find and import various types of content into your projects, including audio and MIDI files, track and project templates, track icons, effect plug-ins and instruments. You can drag content and plug-ins directly into tracks.To show or hide the Browser, click the Views menu and choose Browser, or press B.Now that we know how to show and hide the Browser, let’s take a closer look at some of its features, starting with the controls that span across the top of the Browser. Locate the section on your computer screen that looks like the following image.
The Content Location drop-down list shown in the following figure allows you to quickly jump to Content Location presets, which refer to different locations of installed content on your computer. Music Creator includes a number of Content Location presets to help you quickly find the type of content you're looking for. Note - Using Offline Help
Note: If you prefer to always use offline Help, go to Edit > Preferences > File > Advanced in your Cakewalk software and select Always Use Offline Help.
If you are not connected to the internet, your Cakewalk software will default to showing offline help until an internet connection becomes available.
