Close and browse the legacy Cakewalk website.
Go to Edit > Preferences > Audio - Playback and Recording
In the Driver Mode
Select the Share Drivers With Other Programs
Click Audio - Sync and Caching
In the Playback I/O Buffer Size (KB)
In the Record I/O Buffer Size (KB)
Click Audio - Driver Settings
Assign Playback Timing Master
Record Timing Master
to the first listed device or the device in which your speakers are plugged into.
Set Buffers in Playback Queue
Drag the Buffer Size
slider to the middle.
In the Sampling Rate
and restart SONAR.
