Being able to quickly duplicate an existing track can be a time-saver in various mixing and recording situations. For example, you may want to double-track an instrument, or layer multiple copies of a track with slight panning and effect variations.The Duplicate Track button in the Track view simplifies the process of duplicating an existing track (with or without its clips).Figure 5. 2. Click the Duplicate Track button .
To specify which track settings you want to duplicate, right-click the Duplicate Track button to open the Duplicate Track Settings dialog box. You can specify whether or not to duplicate the following settings:
